We had such a wonderful time sledding in the backyard and the kids loved it! The only downside was that the unit got a bit warm during the day, but the provided fan helped a lot! 🎉

The hotel had a lovely atmosphere, with friendly staff and clean, cozy rooms. However, a lack of air conditioning made the summer heat quite uncomfortable, especially on the second floor. The amenities were decent, though the noise from outside was bothersome at night.

Just a strong match for an overnight stay in Big Bear Lake with great value-to-price ratio. The staff was very friendly, especially a clerk named Sue who made our stay special with free firewood and some treats. Make sure to check if they are still offering any promotions during your visit.

This large property is cozy and split into several buildings, providing an intimate feel. The boutique-style rooms were spacious and showcased quirky decor, while the communal areas, including a full kitchen and lounge with a pool table, were enjoyable for families. The outdoor fire pits added a delightful touch for relaxation. However, noise from adjacent rooms can be an issue for light sleepers, and I experienced occasional delays with staff availability during busy periods.

I found Sessions Retreat to be a cozy getaway with a lot of potential. The location couldn’t be beat, just a quick drive from everything Big Bear has to offer. The common area downstairs is great for families, providing a pool table and a clean kitchen with all the basics needed for cooking. I really enjoyed the fire pits outside. it was perfect for making s'mores with the family. The room we stayed in was warm, comfortable, and clean. The beds were super cozy. However, I faced some issues. The bathroom in our room felt cramped with very little space to move around. The heater frequently went out, which was frustrating during the night. There were also some internet problems, and I could hear everything happening in the neighboring rooms, which disrupted my sleep. Despite these issues, I appreciated the friendly staff who were always helpful. I’d suggest some soundproofing improvements for the rooms to enhance the overall experience. Would consider returning once some renovations are complete.
